Join us for a lecture with Diamond Way Buddhist teachers, Maxi and Gerhard Kukuvec.
The lecture includes an introduction into Buddhism and the Diamond Way approach, which can also be referred to as Vajrayana or Tibetan Buddhism. Lectures last up to two hours and include Q&A and a short, guided experience of our main meditation practice.

Maxi took Buddhist Refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 1983. She co-founded the Buddhist Center in Graz in 1986 and has been living there with her family since then. As of 1986, Maxi has served as the chairman of the Diamond Way Buddhist organization of Austria.
Gerhard took Buddhist refuge with Lama Ole in 1985. He is married to Maxi Kukuvec and together they have one daughter, Anja. Gerhard works at a land surveying company in Graz. He co-founded the Diamond Way Buddhist Center in Graz in 1986 and currently lives there with his family. Gerhard has been teaching Buddhism.
The Diamond Way Buddhist Center of La Crosse belongs to an international, non-profit network of nearly 700 lay groups and centers of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The Diamond Way centers have been founded by Lama Ole and Hannah Nydahl and are under the spiritual guidance of H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje.
