Join us for a weekend of meditation and teachings with traveling teachers Maxi and Gerhard, students of Lama Ole Nydahl.

Friday, March 13th

Introductory lecture: "Why meditate?" followed by 16th Karmapa meditation

Saturday, March 14th
8:30am Group Prostrations
9:00am Breakfast
10:00am Personal Practice
12:00pm Lunch
1:00pm Lecture with Maxi (8th Karmapa practitioners) followed by 8th Karmapa guided meditation
Lecture with Gerhard: 4 Foundational Practices
3:30pm Break
4:00pm Personal Practice / Meditation explanations with travel teachers

7:30pm Guided 16K Meditation
8:00pm Lecture by Maxi and Gerhard: "Karma Kagyu Lineage"

About teachers

Maxi took Buddhist Refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 1983. She co-founded the Buddhist Center in Graz in 1986 and has been living there with her family since then. As of 1986, Maxi has served as the chairman of the Diamond Way Buddhist organization of Austria.

Gerhard took Buddhist refuge with Lama Ole in 1985. He is married to Maxi Kukuvec and together they have one daughter, Anja. Gerhard works at a land surveying company in Graz. He co-founded the Diamond Way Buddhist Center in Graz in 1986 and currently lives there with his family. Gerhard has been teaching Buddhism.


$50/full weekend or
$10 Program day + $5/meal + $5/overnight/person (or $25/night/room)
