"In the Diamond Way, the lama is the practical embodiment of the whole refuge. The more skillful the methods are, the more important the teacher becomes. Everyone manages to learn how to walk by themselves. When learning to drive, instructions are useful to most. However, nobody will successfully learn how to fly without a teacher."
All of our lectures include an introduction into Buddhism and the Diamond Way approach, which can also be referred to as Vajrayana or Tibetan Buddhism.
Our lectures last up to two hours and include a short, guided experience of our main meditation practice. There will be chances to ask questions throughout the evening!
TRAVELING TEACHER BIO
Jeremiah Hendren took refuge with Lama Ole as a child in California during the 1990's. In college, he, with several friends, started the Diamond Way Buddhist Center of Boston. He moved to Germany with his wife Yomi in 2011 with the wish to connect the Diamond Way centers on both sides of the ocean. In 2015, Lama Ole asked Jeremiah to serve as a traveling teacher, and he has since taught throughout Europe and the Americas.
