We are very happy to announce that Lena Leonteva from Russia will come to Edmonton Diamond Way Centre.

Monday, August 12 @ 8PM
Lecture: "Teacher and Student Relationship" followed by a guided meditation*

Tuesday, August 13 @ 8PM
Lecture: "The life stories of Kagyu and Karma Kagyu masters and the life stories of our teachers, focusing on the examples they set." followed by a guided meditation*

All of our lectures include an introduction to Buddhism and the Diamond Way approach.
*A suggested donation of $10/each lecture helps to cover travel costs.

Lena Leonteva took refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 1992 and started teaching in Diamond Way Buddhist centres in 1998. She lived in the Moscow Buddhist center from 1998 until 2016. Lena does extensive work in translation and book editing of Buddhist texts. Since 2007 she has been the Chief Editor of the Buddhism.ru magazine. Lena has a Ph.D. in History and her thesis focused on the works of Marpa the Translator.
