11am - Lecture: Life Stories of Kagyu Masters: Marpa and Milarepa
8pm - Lecture: Teacher-Student Relationship

Sunday, August 18th
10am - 16th Karmapa Meditation
8pm - Lecture: Love and Partnership followed by 16th Karmapa Meditation

All of our lectures include an introduction to Buddhism and the Diamond Way approach.

Biography
Lena Leonteva took refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 1992 and started teaching in Diamond Way Buddhist centers in 1998. She lived in the Moscow Buddhist center from 1998 until 2016. Lena does extensive work in translation and book editing of Buddhist texts. Since 2007 she has been the Chief Editor of the Buddhism.ru magazine. Lena has a Ph.D. in History and her thesis focused on the works of Marpa the Translator.
