About Lena Leonteva
Lena took refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 1992 and started teaching in Diamond Way Buddhist centers in 1998. She lived in the Moscow Buddhist center from 1998 until 2016. Lena does extensive work in translation and book editing of Buddhist texts. Since 2007 she has been the Chief Editor of the Buddhism.ru magazine. Lena has a Ph.D. in History and her thesis focused on the works of Marpa the Translator.
Diamond Way Buddhist Center Chicago belongs to an international non-profit network of over 600 lay Diamond Way Buddhist centers of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Lama Ole Nydahl and under the spiritual guidance of H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje.

We always present a basic introduction for newcomers, and the meditations are guided in English.
