Lama Ole is one of the most experienced teachers in the world for a Tibetan Buddhist practice on conscious dying called Phowa, and has taught this meditation practice to more than 90,000 people. His most recent book, Fearless Death, offers practical advice for approaching death without fear from both an experiential and scientific basis. The lecture will do the same.

The Robert and Judi Newman Center for Performing Arts is located on the University of Denver (DU) campus on the corner of E Iliff Ave. and S. University Blvd at 2344 East Iliff Ave. The lecture will be in the Hamilton Recital Hall on the East side of the building.
- Light rail: RTD rt. E, F, and H all stop at the north end of the campus (walk time from light rail stop to venue is approximately 15min)
- Bus: RTD rt. 24 runs N/S along University Blvd and rt. 21 runs E/W along Evans (walk time from bus stop to venue is approximately 5min)
- Parking: There will be a limited number of free street parking within the campus near the venue. Nearby neighborhoods offer free street parking as well. There is also a parking garage immediately to the south of the venue that provides event parking for $8.00
