For more than a millennium, the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism has transmitted some of the most powerful meditation methods Buddhism has to offer. Today, these transformative approaches are available in Diamond Way Buddhist centers throughout the Western world.
Please join us for two inspiring evenings with travel teacher Eugene Trak.
PROGRAM Wednesday, June 13th, 8 PM: 6:30 pm: Welcome dinner
8 pm: Lecture: "Developing Compassion & Wisdom"
Please note that due the event, our regular public meditation night will be longer than usual. Lecture followed by questions and answers as well as social time afterward.
Thursday, June 14th, 8 PM: 6:30 pm: Dinner
8 pm: Lecture: "The Meaning of the Sangha"
There will be an opportunity to meditate and ask questions after the lecture as well.
Please note that our weekly meditation in Spanish will not be hosted this night.
About the teacher: Eugene met Lama Ole Nydahl in 1995 at a 10-day course in San Francisco. Since then, he has helped to establish and lived in Diamond Way Buddhist centers in Minnesota, Colorado, and California. He and his wife Lara run a web design company and currently live on the Central Coast of California, where they are actively involved in the development of the Western Retreat Center - WRC.
