Lecture w/ Klaus Neukirchen - Buddhism in Daily Life
Tuesday October 17
Join us at our beautiful new key center for a lecture on how the Buddhist mindset, teachings, and methods are relevant, beneficial and incorporated into modern daily lives.
Following the lecture, there will be plenty of time for questions and answers as well as a short, guided meditation. No previous experience is necessary and we welcome the curious as well as those who have practiced for quite a while to join us.
Donation for Lecture: $15
Doors open at 8pm, and the lecture will start at 8:30pm.
There is plenty of free, street parking available around the Center. When you arrive, use the call box to the right of the door. Scroll through the names until you see "Diamond Way" and hit the "Call" button. We are in unit 204 at the top of the stairs.
The evening's lecture will be given by Klaus Neukirchen, visiting from Munich, Germany. Klaus, born in 1958, has been an active Buddhist practitioner and Lama Ole’s student since 1980. During many years of teaching, his journeys have led him across Europe and Russia, as well as to North and South America. Professionally, he takes care of seniors and trains nurses for the elderly. Together with his wife, he lives in the near the Munich Diamond Way Center, which is the focus point in their daily lives.
